"You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you (John 15:16)
Greeting to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!
It gives me great pleasure to address our dear Parish members through this month Parish bulletin. It is truly a divine blessing and heavenly reward to work for the Lord. I thank our Lord Almighty and my fellow parish members for entrusting me this blessed and very important service for our Parish. I am sure that if we all join our hands together, we can do great things for God’s Kingdom. I am requesting you all to extend your prayer, untiring support, encouragement and innovative suggestions, so that I can fulfill the responsibilities assigned to me with the best of my abilities. I would like to really appreciate and pay tribute to the outgoing secretary Mr. Reji K.Varughese and his team for the strong and dedicated leadership that they had displayed during the last one year of their tenure. We, as the officials for the year 2017-2018, humbly surrender ourselves before the Lord so that whatever we set out to accomplish, will be ultimately for His glory and honour.
Under the guidance and leadership of our previous and current Vicars, the Parish has flourished in this wilderness. Thousands of our members have offered prayers, shed tears and worked hard behind this growth. If we were to turn back and look during the past 40 years, we started off with a small and humble beginning, this is the time when we should never forget the dedication of those who were instrumental in the initial growth of our church. It is due to their efforts and sacrifices that today we are enjoying all these facilities. Let this year, be a year of Thanks giving, a time to reflect on all His Heavenly Providence.
The most important asset of the parish is our dedicated families. Everything begins with the family. Teaching the importance of family values in the true Mar Thoma Sabha faith and traditions have laid the foundation for the spiritual development of our children. Today our children can differentiate between truth and facts, law and injustice within the society that almost expelled truth from the world. Now, let us grow through our children and celebrate the blessings showered on our children as our ancestors did in the past.
May God use us all as his instrument to build His Kingdom on this planet Earth. We worship together as a believing community in Sharjah and work for the Lord through our life and deeds. Moreover, I request you all to uphold the parish, its members and all its activities in your daily family as well as personal prayer.
Please feel free to contact us at any time, we will be ever more happy to serve you.
With warm Regards and Prayers
