Luke 1: 46-55

  • 46 ) And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord,

  • 47 ) And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.

  • 48 ) For he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

  • 49 ) For he that is mighty has done to me great things, and holy is his name.

  • 50 ) And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

  • 51 ) He has showed strength with his arm, he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

  • 52 ) He has put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

  • 53 ) He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent empty away.

  • 54 ) He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy,

  • 55 ) As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Luke 1: 46-55

  • 46 ) അപ്പോൾ മറിയ പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കർത്താവിനെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു,

  • 47 ) എന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിൽ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു.

  • 48 ) അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ താഴ്ച കടാക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ, ഇന്നുമുതൽ എല്ലാ തലമുറകളും എന്നെ ഭാഗ്യവതി എന്നു വാഴ്ത്തും.

  • 49 ) ശക്തനായവൻ എനിക്കു വലിയവ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം പരിശുദ്ധം തന്നേ.

  • 50 ) അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കു അവന്റെ കരുണ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

  • 51 ) തന്റെ ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ബലം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു, ഹൃദയവിചാരത്തിൽ അഹങ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെ ചിതറിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

  • 52 ) പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ സിംഹാസനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു ഇറക്കി താണവരെ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

  • 53 ) വിശന്നിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നന്മകളാൽ നിറെച്ചു, സമ്പന്നന്മാരെ വെറുതെ അയച്ചു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

  • 54 ) നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും കരുണ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു,

  • 55 ) തന്റെ ദാസനായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ തുണെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.”
